Adventure DC-NY

Close Up is an educational program designed to inspire young people to participate in our democracy and to understand the workings of our government.  The program has been around for over 40 years, with hundreds of success stories.  Students and teachers are given an exciting 6- day hands-on experience in Washington, D.C., in which the city becomes a classroom with unprecedented access to the people, processes, and places that make our nation’s capital so unique.

Students and teachers are given an exciting 8-day hands-on experience in Washington, D.C., in which the city becomes a classroom with unprecedented access to the people, processes, and places that make our nation’s capital so unique.  During this time, the students also get the opportunity to meet personally with the Montana Congressional delegation.  They will also participate in a 4-day excursion to New York City, where they will experience Times Square, the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the 9/11 Museum, and attend a Broadway Show.
